Summer so far...

Well we've been hangin at home for the most part. Cody is studying hard for the MCAT so we haven't really been able to go any where. Rilyn and I have been swimming and playing with the hose in the back yard and of course and lake.


My cousin Delaney was in town the beginning of July and Rilyn decided that Delaney was her new best friend. She wanted to be with her all the time. It was so cute! I've decided that Delaney needs to move to AZ so she can play with Rilyn and maybe babysit for me on the weekends. I've never seen Rilyn take to anyone (other than grandma) like she did to Delaney. It was cool. Rilyn has also become even more of a climber because shes getting taller. She can now climb onto all of the furniture and if you turn around for a minute she is on something. She has also figured out that if she stands on her chair she can reach stuff on the counter so I have to keep everything far away from the edge. This last weekend we went to Flagstaff with my parents and stayed in a ranger cabin. It was basically camping in a fancy tent. We didn't have electrictity and had an out house. An outhouse, are you kidding me?!? It was fun though. This is Rilyn and Uncle Cody in the car on the way there. Rilyn loved the outside. I also got to shoot a gun for the first time. I even hit the bottle I was aiming at 3 times. I was impressed at that.
