Silly Rabbit and Silly Baby

Well I thought I'd start by sharing this super cute Easter picture we took the other day. Can you tell how much Rilyn LOVES her bunny!Bunny happened to learn a new trick this week. It now knows how to use the doggy door. Now we find bunny relaxing all over the house and in the funniest spots. I thought these were pretty cute. Here it is on Rilyn's little chair sleeping and chilling on Lola's doggy stairs (she needs help getting up on the bed). Cody was gone for a lot this last week so Ri and I had lots of girl time. On Friday night we decided to have a girl night! We put on mud masks and got manicures and pedicures. It was so fun! Rilyn loved every minute of it! Rilyn also is a major girly girly and today while I was in the shower I heard her come in the bathroom a few times and whatever it was that she was doing was keeping her busy (never a good thing). Well when I came out this is what she looked like. She has one super brown cheek thanks to my bronzer. I guess I need to teach her that a little goes a long way with that. Silly girl. I guess now mommy needs a new spot for her makeup higher up! We are getting SOOOO excited for Disneyland. We're going there on Thrusday! And thank you grandma for the new stroller. Rilyn loves it!
Oh and on a Mission Mommy Upgrade note...I have been working hard and am very happy to say I've lost 5 pounds. I know its not much but its a start.

Another Fun Week

Well Spring break is over. We really enjoyed Cody coming home after work and not after 10 this week. Rilyn had lots of fun playing with her daddy. He was supposed to be helping her get her panties on when I looked over and saw this. Yes her panties are on his head. That silly daddy! Rilyn and I had to go to the mall to get her daddy a new shirt so while we were there we thought we would ride the carousel. She picked out the giraffe because its one of her favorite animals. She is still a little unsure about carousels but I did get one cute picture of her. Rilyn's friend Kaydence came and spent all day Friday with us. Rilyn had so much fun! I love watching her with other kids. She is growing up so fast. It was so funny to just sit back and listen to them talk to each other. While Kaydence was with us I decided we needed to do something fun so we made pizza for lunch. The girls had a blast! They made a HUGE mess but it was ok. The pizza actually turned out pretty good too. Rilyn had so much fun that this morning when she woke up she told me she wanted to make pizza for lunch. Shes so funny! I had a fun weekend. I got the Twilight movie on Saturday. I've already watched it a few times. I know I'm a dork. I even made Cody watch it. He surprisingly stayed awake through it but when I asked him if he liked it he said it was slow. I don't buy it. He doesn't stay awake for any movies so I think he secretly liked it! This week Rilyn and I are going to have lots of girls nights because Cody has a couple of trips he has to go on for school. Hes pretty excited about the one sending him to PA because he gets to stay one night with his friend Billy (thank you guys for letting him crash at your place). Oh and only 10 more days until DISNEYLAND!!! If you ask Rilyn if shes going to Disneyland she tells you that shes going to see Ariel. What a goof!

Friends to visit

This week we had a fun time with friends. Rilyn's friend Kaydence came over to play and to meet bunny. The girls were too funny. Rilyn has a lot to learn about sharing still but they had fun. It also gave me and Lacey a chance for some much needed girl talk. Then Rilyn's friend Kaylee came to visit for two days (just during the day she didn't stay the night) and I learned what it would be like to have 2 kids. (Kaylee is only a few months old) Rilyn was such a big helper! It was so funny to watch. She knew just what to do. When the baby was upset she tried to make her happy by bringing her toys and singing for her or she would try to put her passy in. And she pushed her around the house in the walker, Kaylee LOVED that! It was a fun time. I can't believe how big my baby is. We also celebrated Cody's birthday last night along with my Aunt Kellys (they have the same birthday). It was fun to get together with family. Cody's real birthday is today. He is such a great guy! I'm so glad that he is my husband. He is such a hard worker and a good dad. He always finds time to play with his little girl. This next year is sure to bring us an adventure or two, but I'm looking forward to it. Last night I said he was turning 29 but hes really 28. Sorry babe. I guess your old age is affecting my memory! :) Just kidding! Happy Saint Patty's Day tomorrow. Don't forget to wear Green!

New Pet, New Shower Toy, Cody's Trip, Big Girl Rilyn, and much much more!

Obviously we had a HUGE week! In fun news, we got a bunny!! It is the cutest little thing I've ever seen. Rilyn LOVES it to death!! (I say it because we are not sure if it is a boy or a girl yet) Rilyn wants to name it Pink (thats her favorite color) but we're just calling it bunny for now. Cody is not sure that he wants a bunny but we'll win him over eventually. Just look at how happy this little girl is with her bunny. We also got these cool new crayons for in the shower. This is some of our artwork from the other day. I love them!! They are a total lifesaver because they keep Rilyn busy in the shower. Cody was able to spend the weekend with Brady and some friends. He had a blast! I'm glad he was able to have fun a relax for a change. This is Brady jumping his rail. Those boys are NUTS! In more awesome news, Rilyn went #2 in the potty all by herself. She said she needed to and she did. No help from mom on that one. She got this fun Ariel fish tank for doing it. She loves to look at the fish whenever we go to the pet store but I think fish stink so I compromised with fake fish. She thinks its cool. I know when she gets older she'll probably hate that I shared this but It was a big deal to me. My baby is growing up. She just majorly started potty training like a week ago. She has it down pat and is only wearing big girl panties now. She's not a baby anymore. What happened?!? We are looking forward to some fun weeks ahead of us. My brother turns 20 on Wednesday (theres something I can't believe, my baby brother will really be a grown up - not a teenager anymore) and Cody turns 28 on the 16th and my Aunt Kelly is coming into town this week from Florida. Cody did get one of his birthday presents early (I suck at waiting on these things) so as soon as the UPS man delivered he got... his new RC car!! He's wanted one for a long time but I've told him he doesn't need anything else to take up his time but he works hard so he deserves one. Have fun babe!

Our Fun Week

Well this last week Rilyn and I did some fun painting in the backyard. This nice weather is letting us play outside all day. Its so fun! I hope it doesn't get too hot too fast. We also got to spent lots of time up in Rilyn's clubhouse and playing with her outside toys. My nephew Beckom was blessed on Sunday. He is such a cutie and we were so happy to be there. Rilyn just loves babies and was so sweet to little Beckom. Rilyn's Aunt Shelley also made Rilyn this special had. Shelley is so creative and makes Ri's cousin Tatum the cutest hats and bows. I wish that Rilyn would wear stuff like that but shes a little stubborn. Well Shelley, the craetive genious, found out that Rilyn will only wear hats that have Ariel on them so she made her one of her cute flower hats and found some cute Ariel fabric to make the center of the flower with. Its AWESOME!! Rilyn LOVES her new hat. It has gone everywhere with us since Aunt Shelley gave it to Rilyn. Thank you Aunt Shelley!! And in other news, Rilyn has been potty training since last week and has been doing AWESOME!! She has been having hardly any accidents. I'm so proud of my big girl!!
