Family Fun

Rilyn is still loving school! Casen is still missing her. Hes been trying to get his brothers to like the same things he likes, such as Thomas the Train.

They like to watch him but aren’t very good at participating. All 3 of them do love riding in the wagon when we take sissy to school. On Saturday we got to go to a fun day at a nursery down the road from us. The kids got their faces painted, bounced on the bounce house, and played games. We ended the day checking out a helicopter! How cool! Oh and the boys are sitting up! What big boys.

1st Grade!

First grade here we come! Rilyn started school this week. On Monday we went to meet her teacher, Mrs. Clemmons.

She is in for a fun year. Her first day she was so excited!

We walked to school (Casen rode) and she was so excited I had to remind her I needed a kiss bye.

Crazy girl! Casen has been bored out of his mind without his sister and couldn’t wait for it to be time to get her.

Brigg and Brooks kept busy with their new favorite toy, the dog.

Tooth Fariy Drama

This week Brigg and Brooks had their first taste of baby food. I started with applesauce because who doesn’t like apple sauce?

Apparently, these two do not like applesauce! They kept looking at me like I was trying to poison them and gagging themselves. It was pretty funny to watch. Rilyn lost tooth number 2!

We were so excited! And then the next morning we had a toothfairy fail! She forgot to switch Rilyn’s tooth for a sparkly dollar. It was tragic! Luckily that fairy got her act in order and came the next night.

All was well when Rilyn woke up to her new sparkly dollar. We also had some fun at the apple orchard this week. We picked a bunch of apples and made a super yummy pie!

We also took a walk to the park one afternoon.

We’ve gotta take advantage of the time we have together before school starts next week!

Special Visitors

This week we finally made it out to the beach to play.

The big kids had a blast splashing around in the water and digging in the sand. The babies weren't sure what to think. They kept throwing handfuls of sand in their faces and Brigg kept face planting in it from rolling over. I think they still had fun though. Friday brought some very special visitors... Grandma and Grandpa! Yeah! Grandpa was a surprise. It was supposed to just be Grandma but Grandpa ended up over on this side of the states thanks to a work trip. The kids were so excited to see them. We went to the movies and saw planes.

Mommy and Daddy got to sneak out and get a yummy treat with out tag alongs.

We went to Lowes and built planes.

It was a quick trip but it was a fun one! Come back soon! Oh and we did a quick picture of Grandparents with all their grandkids as they were running out the door.

Family Fun

This week we started off the week right by making s'mores for FHE.

Yummy! Then we spent time playing outside on the swing set because the weather has be beautiful.

The twins are getting hugemoungous! They can touch the bottoms of their exersaucers now!

They are also still doing great with their rice cereal.

Friday was our last swimming lesson of the summer. Rilyn did so well that she is ready for LEVEL 3! Woot woot! Casen is still a crazy man and loves playing in the water. On the last day of lessons they get to play in the big pool with a slide and other toys.

 They had fun! Saturday we went down to campus to walk around and see if we could find some Iowa gear. We kind of stick out like sore thumbs around here with out it. The kids tried on every accessory in the bookstore.

 

Casen wanted to make sure he had on enough necklaces to show his school spirit. Mission accomplished Buddy.
