My baby turned 1! I can't believe it. I wish she could have stayed a baby forever. Now I feel like I have a little teenager (cause shes super independent and can cop quite the 'tude). On her real birthday she got to open presents from Mom and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa. 
She got a tickle me Elmo, which is very scary to her so we might have to put him away for another year or so, a soccer ball, which she hasn't stopped kicking since she got it, 
and a princess chair that she sits in all day every day. Grandma and Grandpa got her a little kid swing set which she loves to play on! 
Shes in the back yard going up and down the slide for hours its so cute to watch. 
Rilyn's birthday party was this weekend and we had so much fun! It was a cowgirl party and Rilyn's grandma got her this cute dress that says cowgirl with a matching belt with the big belt buckle. She even had a hat that she refused to wear. The only thing we couldn't find in her size were boots, she has the tiniest feet so its hard to find stuff like that for kids that can walk. All of the kids got cowboy hats and bandannas and goodie bags full of farm animal toys and candy shaped like boots and hats. 
This was Rilyn's special cake that I made for her. I don't get this girl at all, most kids love to get dirty, not Ri, she wouldn't touch the cake except to take out the candle. Goofy Kid! 
While we sang Happy Birthday Rilyn played shy and wouldn't look at anyone and 
then after when everyone started clapping and taking pictures she started posing. What a nut! Then after cake we started the "camp fire" and roasted marshmallows and made s'mores while sitting on hay bales. Poor Rilyn was so tired that she fell asleep before we could open presents so she got to have at them the next morning. 
Rilyn got totally spoiled by everyone! Look at all of those presents! I can't believe it! Boy did she get a TON of cute clothes and toys. What a lucky girl! Thanks to everyone who came and made her first birthday extra special.

Aww!She is so fun Ashley.....I love her soo soo much!I love the hand and arm in front of the face when she is sad or shy.It is the best.

Happy Birthday Rilyn! That's a pretty cool cake. Better than the cake Ashley got for her birthday. Her mom's kind of lazy. Glad you had a wonderful day!

I can't believe how fast babies grow up. Crazy! Yeah, it's way hard to find a place to put all the food storage... in our apartment we ended up putting it behind the couch, under the sinks, anywhere. But even with our house it's still hard. Glad you found us!!! Rilyn's so cute- she'll be a handful when she's older ;-)
