Well this last week has been pretty low key. Rilyn has been having some breathing issues (I thought she was just coming down with the croup like usual but I guess not). I took her to the doctor on Friday and now shes on a breathing machine every 4 hours. SHE HATES IT!! We even decorated part of it with princess stickers to make it less scary.
Shes finally starting to get the hang of it and will try to hold it herself and help me out. Shes pretty funny. One good thing is that shes not really letting her breathing issues stop her from having fun. Shes still her silly self. The other night she was sitting on the potty and wanted to play with bandaids so we decided to make her look like she'd had some work done.
Cody about fell over when we told him to come check her out. We told him she had a breast aug and a rhinoplasty (boob job and nose job). I think our knowledge of medical terms really impressed him. And yesterday while getting ready for chuch I went to go look for Rilyn to put her clothes on and this is what I found.
She is so sweet. She just loves all of her animals. I think Cody is going to have to get over not being an animal lover because he is surrounded by them!! Since we really didn't have a very eventful week I have some room to share a story about the sweet little spirit we have in our home. On Easter we were at my parents house for dinner and before we ate we said a blessing on the food. Well Rilyn knows what to do during a prayer because we work on it a lot (her favorite part is the amen). Anyways, just as my grandpa was about to offer the blessing she looked up a realized that my parents weren't praying like she does so she yelled "Gramma Prayer!" and then showed Grandma that you are supposed to fold your arms and bow your head. I love the fact that Rilyn has learned that so fast and knows its important. She reminds us anytime we may forget to pray before a meal and sometimes wants to pray just to eat fruit snacks. She is so sweet and smart. I am so greatful to have such a wonderful daughter and to have her as an example to me.
