Splash Pad

The weather this week didn't start off too great so since we were stuck inside the kids and I built an awesome fort (man we need a bigger living room for this stuff) and had a movie day. They loved their snack trays.

This week we had a fun playgroup at one of the splash pads in town. Casen went to town and had so much fun running around with his little buddies.

Hes such a wild man! This week we also said goodbye to our friends the Burnetts. They left to move back west and we are really going to miss them. Rilyn already misses Jaron and she drew him the cutest picture of him and his family driving away and she is standing to the side crying and waving goodbye. It broke my heart! Maybe some day we will all meet up again when were all back in the west. Oh and I have to share Casen's newest thing. A few months ago he LOVED the vacuum. He would go get it out and play with it and all sorts of things. For some reason in the last couple of weeks he has decided that he is TERRIFIED of it. He has to be held for me to have it on or he is screaming.

Lets just say vacuuming is now quite the work out! And before I make you go and think I still have a little baby in the house I have to share that this week I had to take down the baby gate at the bottom of my stairs. Casen has figured out that if he uses his "flinstone" car he can climb over the car and then jump over the gate. Hes gotten hurt a few times doing that so to make sure I don't have to take him to the er with a broken arm or leg from his crazy monkey ways I took it down. There is still a gate at the top so he can't come down the stairs without someone. He is growing up way too fast. Next step, get rid of the diapers!!
