This week my baby boy turned 2! It is so crazy to think that he is 2 already! He is growing up so fast and turning into such a big boy! We had quite the big week celebrating. To start off, Rilyn had her last softball game of the season (ok I know that is about Rilyn and not about Casen but it still happened and its still important).
I am so proud of my little athlete. She is amazing! Her coach said that she was the most imporved on the team. Casen loved spending time watching his sister. He loves her so much. The kids and I went to the movies and saw The Smurfs.
It was the first time Casen has been to a movie theater since he was a baby. He did great! All of our keeping busy tired Casen out and I found him asleep on his sister one afternoon.
She is such a great big sister to let her brother cuddle up to her and fall asleep. On Casen's actual birthday Cody had to go to New York to take his board exams (YUCK!) so we had to celebrate with out him (SAD). Casen woke up and opened his presents. He loved all of his Mater and Thomas toys (they are his current favorites). His Thomas and Mater pillow pets have slept with him every night since.
Then he had a #2 pancake with candles and whipped cream.
I loved watching him blow out his candles after we sang. He loved it. We went to playgroup later that day and played in the water with our friends. When Cody got home that night we had cupcakes and sang again.
The next day since boards were over we went to the train museum and rode the train.
Casen LOVED it. That night our friends came over for pizza and cake.
We love our friends and had so much fun with them. Since its getting so hot I decided to fill up some water balloons to play with after we ate. The kids loved it and the grown ups may have had some fun too. In fact we had so much fun that the next day we went over to Mike and Cassidy's house for water balloon volleyball which turned into a HUGE water fight.
We had like 400 water balloons to play with and we all ended up soaked! It was awesome!!
