Happy Birthday Cody!

Well we had a pretty fun week! On Monday Rilyn and I got a new breadmaker. Rilyn thought it was so cool and asked every 5 minutes if the bread was ready yet. She loves eating the fresh bread. Tuesday was Codys 29th birthday! Rilyn and I made him a cake (Rilyn decorated) and I tried to make home made ice cream but it never got hard. We were able to have some friends come over and help us celebrate. It was a lot of fun. Rilyn and I got Cody a new football, a baseball, a softball, and we had my parents send him out his baseball mitt because we left it behind when we moved (they sent out mine too so we could play). We've been playing catch everynight since he got them. On Wednesday Rilyn and I went out to Preque to walk with Lola and it was so nice to get out of the house and be in the sunshine. The lake is almost totally unfrozen now and the weather feels so nice. Its a little colder down by the water so Rilyn didn't last too long but I got some good exercise. Rilyn's baby brother got his first package in the mail from grandma (can't show you the name yet). It was so fun to see his name on the box and I think Rilyn couldn't have been more excited if it was for her. She is so excited for her brother to be here. The box was full of super cute clothes. I can't wait for him to get here and dress him in them! Thursday Rilyn helped me clean the garage and wash the car and windows and we moved her swing set outside (her favorite part). On Friday we had some friends over in the morning and then we were able to go to Presque again with some more friends to walk again. Rilyn fell fast asleep (it was so cute and surprising because she NEVER sleeps). When Cody got home we all went in the backyard and played for a while. Rilyn showed off her trike skills (shes getting really good)and played catch and just enjoyed the sunshine. Can you spot Lola hanging out in Cody's sweatshirt? They were seeing how well they blended in.
